BOSTON URGENT MESSAGE – WARNING FRAUDULENT EMAIL /SCAM

Dear Members,

Today I was sent an email from one of our Boston flight attendants advising that he and his family were robbed on vacation in Europe – and he was asking for assistance in the form of sending cash – Below is the email I removed his email address and removed his name to protect his privacy.

From: Removed his name - gmail.com]

Subject: My Dilemma !!!

I'm writing this with tears in my eyes,my fam and I came down here to Wales, United Kingdom for a short vacation unfortunately we were mugged at the park of the hotel where we stayed, all cash, credit card and cell were stolen off us but luckily for us we still have our passports with us.

We've been to the embassy and the Police here but they're not helping issues at all and our flight leaves in less time from now but we're having problems settling the hotel bills and the hotel manager won't let us leave until we settle the bills, i'm freaked out at the moment.

Note: Flight attendant did sign his name…but I removed it

------

It was a desperate believable email, believable and from a really nice guy based in Boston – I came very close to sending the cash but after asking some personal questions that only he could answer – the email response was very suspect and the responses stopped.

Please be aware should you receive this email – it is fraudulent - his email address book must have been hacked – do not respond -

The Western Union Fraudulent line and the Attorney General’s office have been contacted.

He is actually flying today -

Questions or concerns, please contact me or Boston, In-flight.

Thank you,
