In this Issue:
Dear Members,
For the last several weeks, I have been very busy in the
pursuit of obtaining Our Contract First and remain
committed to making the needs of our Flight Attendants a
priority. We are in a countdown to produce a product
that will ensure the ability to take care of our needs
and those of our fellow brothers and sisters at America
West. Although we don't always get what we want, I
believe that US Airways Management must reconcile the
sacrifices made by all of you.
I am planning an Open House on June 14, 2012 at the
Local AFA Council 89 Office located at 501 Minuet Lane,
Suite 102, Charlotte, NC 28217 and encourage all to
attend. The open house will be from 9:00am-11:00am.
Recently, some of you have expressed interest in seeing
the budget and I feel that this will be an opportunity
for all of you to review it. I can assure you that we
have managed to provide the best services while not
having to go into the future budget. I remain firm to
the Oath of my Office and look forward to meeting with
you all.
Also, I encourage all of you to view the Webcast on
www.ourafa.org as to the position we are pursuing in
obtaining Our Contract First.
In Solidarity,
Cathy
