Airways Flight Attendants have been operating as ONE
company since 2005 yet we remain without ONE contract.
It is time to unify with ONE voice, demanding the
contract we deserve. The company has repeatedly given us
proposals that are completely unacceptable while
boasting record on-time performance, profit, and
management bonuses. We will not settle! It is time
for us to stand united and show it!
In an effort to
unify and educate our flight attendants, a MOBILIZATION
COMMITTEE has been formed within AFA. Each base is
seeking dedicated flight attendants to volunteer as
mobilizers, who will:
- Attend
educational training to learn about the negotiations
process, our progress to date, and what the upcoming
months under mediation will mean for us.
- Educate and
inform fellow flight attendants about the process.
- Actively
engage fellow flight attendants and encourage
participation in solidarity activities and solicit
and answer questions from members.
- Assist with
getting bag tags and AFA pins out to all flight
attendants.
- Display
professionalism, poise and courtesy throughout the
process.
