Passing of Jim
and Stephanie Hamilton
Dear Members,
It is with deep regret
that we announce the passing of Captain Stephanie
Hamilton (56), and her husband, retired Captain Jim
Hamilton (73), on Friday, September 30, 2011 in their
home in Huntersville, NC.
Captain Stephanie Hamilton began her career with
Piedmont Airlines in 1982 and was a CLT 737 Check
Airman. Jim began his career with Piedmont Airlines in
1969 and retired in 1994 as a CLT 737 Captain.
The funeral services for Jim and Stephanie will be held
Thursday, October 6th at Unity Presbyterian Church, 8210
Unity Church Road, Denver, NC 28037-9395 (704) 483-5266.
The family will receive friends in the Sanctuary from
1:00 to 2:30pm. Reverend Carol Clark will officiate the
service at 3:00pm, including the Committal Service at
the Unity Presbyterian cemetery. There will be a
reception following the service for friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a
memorial donation to the James and Stephanie Hamilton
Memorial Fund, c/o Emilie Hamilton, 12531 Surreykirt
Lane, Huntersville, NC 28078.
