Dear Members,

Must Read Book
09-195
Subject: New Security Procedures
Date: December 26, 2009

In response to yesterday’s incident aboard a Delta Air Lines flight from AMS - DTW, the Transportation Security Administration has implemented added security measures for international flights arriving into the US. Due to the extremely short time frame to implement, we are being asked by the TSA to use a best faith effort in implementing these procedures as soon as possible. Europe and Canada have fully implemented and Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America are moving quickly to implement these measures tomorrow.

Please obtain a copy of the InFlight Services Special Security Briefing document dated December 26, 2009, for further information on these new requirements. This document is available in your crew domicile and will be posted on the InFlight Services home page on "Wings" as soon as possible. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide additional communication as necessary in the coming days.

Should you have any questions, please contact an InFlight
Supervisor.
