Flight 1549 Media Appearances - Video and News Links

The US Airways Crew of flight 1549, Captain Chesley B. Sullenberger, III, First officer Jeffrey B. Skiles, Flight Attendant, Sheila Dail, Flight Attendant, Doreen Welsh, and Flight Attendant, Donna Dent have been busy with the New York media representing our profession as well as US Airways. They appeared Monday morning on Good Morning America, and The Early Show. Monday evening on World News Tonight and the NBC Nightly News. Along with those appearances, their schedule takes them to Larry King Live, Greta Van Susteren's, On the Record, and the David Letterman Show.

Yesterday in New York City, Mayor Michael Bloomberg presented the keys to the city of New York to all five members of US Airways Crew, nicknamed the 'Fabulous Five' by the Mayor, thanking them for preventing "an awful tragedy" when Flight 1549 ditched in the Hudson River. The Crew of flight 1549 will appear tonight and tomorrow night at 9pm on Larry King Live, a rare 2 night appearance for Larry King Live. Also tonight, the Crew will appear on the David Letterman show. The Crew will sit down with Dave and tell their story.

Tomorrow night the Crew will appear on Fox News', "On The Record" with Greta Van Susteren at 10pm - As Greta interviews the heroes of the "Miracle on the Hudson".

On this past Sundays', February 8th 60 Minutes show with Katie Couric, the Crew of US Airways Flight 1549 told Katie and the world their amazing story about the emergency landing in N.Y.'s Hudson River. The Crew of Flight 1549 has provided inspiration to the entire world. The Crew of 1549 has also demonstrated that Flight Attendants are truly Safety Professionals.
