There was a Special meeting of the
Master Executive Council yesterday to elect a President and two new JNC
members. We wish to congratulate Roger Holmin as the newly elected MEC
President. Roger once served as the Master Executive Council Vice
President. We also wish to congratulate Audra West and Rick Knuth as the
new JNC members. Audra currently serves as the MEC Legislative
Chairperson and holds office as the DCA Secretary. Rick Knuth is a
flight attendant with a law degree and has negotiating experience. There
is much work ahead and we wish them the best of luck.
We want to thank all of the candidates
that applied for these position. Your willingness to serve your union
and your valued time applying/interviewing is greatly appreciated.
