The recent mandate for BOS commuters
to vacate the Chelsea employee parking garage October 1st is rapidly
approaching. The political effort for MASSPORT to find a resolution remains a
work in progress with no immediate or promised resolution . More information on
this issue should be available in the next few weeks. Supplied below is a
summation of the current parking options available. The information below was
obtained from the respective managers from each parking location during phone
conversations. There are no legal contracts with specified terms established
requiring each location to adhere to the information discussed. Please call the
location of your choice for more details.
Thrifty Valet Parking 617-568-0100 40 Lee Burbank Hwy Revere -This
facility is located on the Rt hand side heading towards airport coming from the
north/ coming from the south must make UTurn heading back to airport -Their rate
is $95.00 per month /show ID. This facility claims valet service meaning - you
provide your inbound flt # and time and they will have your car brought to their
nearby airport location. Your vehicle will be ready when you get off their
transportation at their check in building /snow removal included. (this company
parks cars at the Wonderland Dog Track/Revere - as they do not have room for all
of the vehicles at their facility - 24 hour security at Wonderland - Thrifty is
open 24 hours - offers free shuttle service - (a request to not move car to
Wonderland 'may' be available to you).
Pre-Flight - 617 723 1114 (This facility is located across from
Chelsea Garage - Eastern AVE) - Show ID -Currently trying to have the offered
price of $119.00 per month reduced - Manager advised that with a commitment of
40 crewmembers he would reduce to $110.00 - open 24 hours
SELECT Valet Parking 1 888 873 6825 - 60 VFW PKWY Revere (at Bell
Circle) - next to Beach Sales - up the road from Wonderland Dog Track - $10.00 a
day /show ID - this company park cars at Wonderland Dog Track along side Thrifty
(24 hour security at Wonderland location) but stated if you prefer your vehicle
remain at their check-in facility told they will honor that request - they are
open 24 hours - offer free shuttle service - no reservations necessary - They
will have your vehicle ready upon arrival and snow removal is included.
Logan Express (This option retains the company reimbursement). Parking
is available at these satellite location: Peabody / Braintree / Framingham /
Woburn
