Reserve News - It's that time of year again.

In this edition I have some good news and some not so good news.

Coming soon to screen 18!

The company has approved the request that will allow RST on screen 18 to show how many days AVL just like ROC currently does today. I was not given the exact date of the enhancement, but it should be within the next 2 weeks.

INV days on Holidays.

Last month, I formally asked for INV days on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. This request was also made by the MEC.

INV days on Thanksgiving is already complicated. The SAP process created a lot of open time after Thanksgiving. The day after Thanksgiving has two-times the open time as the previous year and two days after Thanksgiving has three-times the open time as last year. What will this mean for Reserves? The company still plans on providing INV days on Thanksgiving but at this time I do not know the amount of percentages to expect for each base. We will probably see INV days on the 25th and 26th and that will have the Reserves holding those lines AVL on the 27th.

I have asked the people constructing the November Reserve lines to let me know what else we can expect. I advised them that the decrease in weekends and consistency in the OCT lines was not well received. I will send out another e-line as soon as I have more information.

Take care and fly Safe,
